Scheme of Studies in Financial Engineering
Mathematical practices within industries and markets go by the familiar generic designation of ''Applied Mathematics''. As is well known, this is a field which serves as a bridge between ''Scientific Theories'' and the ''real world problems''. Among a host of its applications, a new specialisation comprises the acquisition of a working knowledge of models and procedures of ''Modern Mathematical Finance''. The highly attractive aspect of this area is that as an Applied Mathematical Discipline it plays a central role in current developments in its domain of application. Besides treating Standard Methods, this focuses on the Development of New Methods and their application to real-time data, to be able to cope with ''future trends'' in a volatile and stochastic environment.

MBA Banking and Finance
The proposed curriculum for the Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) Program has been designed after the review of several leading professional programs such as those of the Institute of Bankers Pakistan and Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.
Given the fact that the Program proposes to serve the professional/educational needs of both the private & public sectors in new situations, the generic approach to banking education has been utilized in curriculum design. Consequently, the first year of study leading to MBA degree has been designed to provide the basic management skill required in private banks and in the second year, specialization in these, disciplines follow.
