This requires a radical approach to education in Electronics and Communication, extending beyond the theoretical underpinnings to studies emphasising industry-relevant courses
Keeping this in view, DIHE currently offers an 8-Semester (4-Year) Bachelor’s degree program in Electronics and Communication (EC). This BS(EC) degree consists of general education, mathematics, business foundation, Electronics and Communication core and elective courses and a thesis / project. Each student is required to successfully complete a minimum of 132 credit hours for the award of degree. A student may also be required to take remedial / foundation non-credit course to improve mathematical background. Therefore, as indicated above, employment prospects for students who qualify for our BS(EC) degree are excellent and can look forward to varied and interesting careers within the country and outside Pakistan.
