Human
beings are not born with knowledge but with the capacity to acquire
knowledge. ALLAH Almighty has blessed us with the power of seeing, hearing
and thinkng. It is our duty, theregore, to acquire as much knowledge
as we canand to use its powers for our own benefit and hat of all our
brothers in faith as well as for all fellow beings. The very first revelation
of the HOLY QUR'AN begins with the word "Read":
"Read in the name of the ALLAH, the Sustainer, Who created."
ALLAH Almighty, in the very first verse of the Holy Qur'an has enjoined upon all beleivers to use all knowledge for progress and prssperity of mankind.
Knowldge is also a source and a force of command. 'Prostration' of the angles before Adam is a symbolic expression of human capacity to conquer nature. Every Muslim is duty bound to acquire knowldge, which is the primary source of light and brings the faithful out of darkness. Muslims have remained the torchbearers of wisdom for centuries together and are now coming back to the path of wisdom and scientific discovers.
A change for better and more knowldge is visible in many Mislims countries, particularly in Pakistan. Educational institutions have a positive role to play in that respect and have a big reponsibility to fullfil in the field of nationakl welfare and uplift.
Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education (DIHE) has been established with high and noble aims. Our journey on the road to service for the nation has begin. We seek help from Almighty ALLAH for His bleesings which will ensure real success in life.
