In an effect to further align the education standards in Pakistan with the western Universities, DIHE has launched initiatives to make educational links with the foreign Universities of good repute.
University of Southampton has signed an MOU with DIHE to explore the possibilities on the following:
- Joint Research Programmes
- Curriculum Review
- Visiting Faculty from University of Southampton
- Split Ph.D. programme between the two Institutes

University of Strathclyde (UK) has signed an MOU with DIHE to:
- Strengthen the DIHE Business School
- Provide consultation and expertise in building our Hawkesbay main campus and establishing, upgrading and strengthening the faculties of Business Management, Science and Technology, Engineering and Social Sciences, Engineering and Social Science
University of York (UK) has signed an MOU with DIHE to:
- Strengthen the DIHE Business School
- Provide consultation for the development of curriculum
Institute for Leadership and Global Education (USA):
Institute for Leadership and Global Education has a sole agreement with DIHE to deliver joint programmes that are recognized and validated by Nova Southeastern University (USA): these programmes will include the following.
- Certificate and diploma courses that will lead on to a Masters degree
- Deliver Seminars in Pakistan
- Deliver Workshops in Pakistan
- Deliver lectures in Pakistan
Senior Experts Service (Germany):
Through Senior Experts Service, Prof. Dr. Diether Gebert, Dean of Management Sciences of Technical University of Berlin is extending assistance in academic development and also delivers lectures to the graduate and research students.
